The phrase “Duty of Care” covers a fundamental requirement of schools to ensure the safety and security of their precious students.
This phrase is very much a best practice requirement, and covers many different areas within schools. These include physical security and safety of playground equipment, fences, as well as policy and procedures for how teachers handle issues and interact with students.
