Google has been collecting student browsing data despite signing a pledge saying it was committed to their privacy, claims the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF).

What a joke!! Microsoft and Apple are both harvesting data and continue to do so. The only difference is Google admits it. After the Snowden release and many others, we should all be aware by now that their is no privacy within the digital arena. If you don't understand that by now, you should stop using technology immediately.
I would rather know what was being mined then find out, later down the track, all my personal information was out there for the world to view. I think this really shows this true lack of understanding people have around technology and what companies and governments are doing to undermine our privacy.
