Do we need minimum entry scores for teaching courses?

A new report into teacher education highlights the need for minimum entry scores for teaching courses, the Australian Education Union (AEU) said today.

    Minimum EXIT scores would be far more effective than minimum entry scores!
    There are plenty of fabulous teachers who got low entry scores, and average teachers who got high entry scores.
    Higher graduation requirements would be the answer, as all teachers know, if you're not passionate you won't last. And if you are passionate, you'll do well at uni.
