Teachers will soon have to sit government-sanctioned personality tests to determine whether they have what it takes to do the job.

Typical business school logic by politicians who like to be seen "improving" our profession.
Tests do not give an accurate measure of personality. Tests can also be subverted by learning how the test works and planning for it.
The only real measure is the candidates performance in a real life professional and or social situation.
I also think that some teachers make exponential improvements with genuine experience and good mentoring.
